Thank you for having me GRAMMYs!!!! That was incredible to be part of. It has me inspired for my performance at the Oscars next week.
O.K.: be like Taylor Swift and shake it off. We’ve got to set our sights on what’s sure to be an electric performance by Beyonce, John Legend and Common now.
That was a beautiful Katy Perry moment. Stripped down and showed her talent. It wasn't what I expected and it was the perfect performance for the song.
Sia never disappoints for being innovative. She has her lane and she delivers every time.
I’m going to keep all those great artists in my heart, and I know you will too. Such a classy, elegant part of the show. Hats off to Neil Portnow for always investing it with the thought and care it deserves.
Joe Cocker will be big on this list, I bet. Probably Johnny Winter, Phil Everly and Bobby Womack, too. What are your own memories of these musical heroes? Tell us about them — it helps to keep the music alive. And isn’t that the point of all this celebrating?
Here we go — the “In Memoriam” segment I love so much. Kleenex handy?
More social consciousness at the GRAMMYs. This show is no guilty pleasure. Just a pleasure.
I want to say that I see the New England Patriots Super Bowl saver Malcolm Butler in the crowd. If that is indeed him, he won at life. What a life changing moment for that guy.
The countdown is on — Beyonce has yet to take the stage. This will be my last plea for your fashion forecasts. How will Bey handle her wardrobe duties this year? Do you suppose she considers what Katy Perry and Lady Gaga and Rihanna might turn up in before planning her own outfit? Who cares the most, do you suspect, about being dissected on the red carpet?
Pharrell and Paul McCartney having some words. Collaboration on the way perhaps?
